The KHO project will attend this year’s biannual conference of the Association of Southern African Professional Archaeologists (ASAPA) from the July 5 to 9 2026. During the session “Beyond the coasts: Pleistocene adaptations to water-scarce landscapes in the Kalahari and surrounding regions”, Inèz Faul and project leader Michaela Ecker will present insights into to project’s research of the southern Kalahari basin. The talks will be in the afternoon of the first day of the conference.
